Learning objectives
Participants will:
- Learn strategies for creating a support network to assist in an emergency and how this assistance may differ by the type of disaster.
- Explore what items they may need by their bedside in an emergency.
- Understand what items are critical for a go bag for themselves and a service animal they may use.
- Learn about how to locate accessible emergency shelters in their area and the transportation options to travel to the shelter.
